High Temperature Belting

We will solve your high temperature conveyor belting problem. We use Viton® and Nomex® plys under Insulglass covers which handle molten glass. We are excellent with extruders and annealing. Try us for u.v. coating and drying situations—you will find knowledgeable staff with 30 years in an ever-changing field.

We use Kevlar®, Nomex®, glass, and Teflon® for heat transfer belts and laminating operations.

Teflon®/Glass Belting

Our PTFE-coated Fluorofab® fabric is used to fabricate conveyor belts of up to 197" in any length. More than 70 different weights and widths of Fluorofab® belting are available and serve many uses - typically where a superior non-stick surface is essential and when the operating temperature range is from -100°F to +550°F. The non-toxic, tasteless and odorless qualities of the PTFE coating make it appropriate for use in food handling operations, as well as, other applications such as:

    • Conveyorized screen print dryers
    • Tortilla presses
    • Rubber profile extrusion
    • Garment fusing and laminating presses

Kevlar® Belting

Woven and non-woven needled high temperature belts are designed for use in hot end processing in glass, aluminum, plastics, automotive, wood laminating and light metal casting.

KEVLAR 1 & 2 PLY

Woven single ply webbings are designed for use by fluorescent tube and flat glass manufacturers as rail guard and roll wrap. Two ply Kevlar is suggested for line catcher belt pads and extrusion table pads.

K-11

Smooth weave, suitable for lightweight hot-end process. May be used for breakaway lines in windshield manufacturing. Belts are cleated for use on flare machines. Treated belt may be used for scoop liners.

K-24/K-26

4 ply woven Kevlar designs offer good cut and heat resistance. Used in bulb manufacturing, light casting conveying, annealing units for blow molded plastics and aluminum extrusion. K26 has pan fibers which improve heat dissipation to extend wear and resistance to open flame.

Open Mesh Teflon® Belting

Open mesh Teflon® PTFE impregnated fiberglass belting is available in brown or with a black U.V. block coating in widths up to 197" and any length. The fluorocarbon resins used in the curing process are chemically inert, and the woven glass substrate provides exceptional strength and dimensional stability. Its non-stick surface, operating temperature range from -100°F to +550°F and the 70% open area makes this belting the perfect solution for many drying applications such as:

  • Conveyorized screen print dryers
  • Conveyorized belts for drying textiles
  • Conveyorized belts for side and base sealing auto pack machines
  • Conveyorized belts for resoldering and ink drying cable braiding

Silicone/Glass Belting

Fabricated out of our Silicone/Glass fabric this belting is available in white or red, coated one or both sides, in widths up to 36" and any length. It provides excellent release properties, high dielectric strength, wear and flexing resistance and high chemical resistance. The operating temperature range is from -100°F to +500°F. The non-toxic, tasteless and odorless qualities of the coating make it appropriate for use in food handling operations, as well as, other applications such as:

    • Conveyorized shrink tunnels
    • Conveyor quick freeze chambers
    • Mid-temperature process conveyors
